The Little Spotted Kiwi is the least known of NZ's three kiwi species. Kiwis are best known for their unique features - they have no wings or tail, they have nostrils at the end of their beak, and they lay the largest egg of all birds in proportion to their body size.
Once distributed widely over much of New Zealand, the Little Spotted Kiwi is now a threatened species. Purchase of this product supports a NZ conservation project.
